Welcome to T1DTutor! We've put together some key notes and ideas to help you navigate your child's journey with Type 1 Diabetes. You'll see in the top right corner of the page there are different pages for you to explore. The Basics, School, and Grocery pages all provide you with some quick facts and tips to help answer some common questions and concerns about diabetes. The Doctor page serves as a resource to connect you with Telehealth providers partnered with IU Health. Finally, The Alert page helps ease your concerns about if your child is checking their glucose and insulin levels regularly.

Disclaimer: The information we've collected for you is only a small piece of the puzzle in managing Type 1 Diabetes, but we would love the opportunity to collect more accurate and detailed information in the future!

Future Roadmap:

• Providing the most up-to-date information on T1D and ways to manage it based on and in collaboration with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA)
• Adding in an Adult Patient interface that children will gain access to once they turn 18 that will contain relevant content such as preparing for college/independent living, shopping for themself, etc.
• Making the webpage unique to each user who signs in and allow user customization
